Country Club

Nestled in a private country club in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia, this legendary celebrity home once owned by both LA Reid and Usher was the project of a beverage industry entrepreneur who had relocated from out of state with a family of six. With only five months between our first design meeting and move-in, we were tasked with creating a chic, airy, and family-friendly space on a strict timeline that would feel like the clients’ favorite hotel lounge. Working in a tight palette of greens, neutrals, and the occasional printed motif, we shopped almost exclusively stocked furniture, lighting, and surface materials for what would be a design-on-the-fly, whirlwind of a project—an exercise in improvisation and a worthy first challenge for Harry Young Design.
