Harry Young Design is a luxury, full-service residential interior design studio based in Atlanta with a focus on functional spaces with a modern, but grounded sensibility and a hint of play. Harry prefers a collaborative approach with clients to create artful environments that feel lived-in and tailored to each client’s unique way of living.
His style is fresh, pragmatic and layered, though he draws inspiration from a variety of design styles and periods. Harry is a native of the Atlanta area and graduated with an English degree from Cornell University in 2013, then attended Columbia Law School in New York before pivoting into his family’s fledgling residential real estate firm in 2016 where he discovered his passion for interiors. Harry went on to found Harry Young Design in 2021, bringing his keen eye and fresh take on contemporary interiors to the Atlanta area and beyond.

For our full-service clients, we will handle design and installation from A to Z. We will collaborate with you to develop a plan for your entire project and seek out and manage contractors to make our shared vision come to life.
Interior Decoration
If you are interested in refreshing your space with little to no contractor work involved, we will help you with a full furnishing and decor plan for any or all of your spaces.

If you need advice or suggestions on a specific part of your home, are planning to take on a project yourself, and are looking for some guidance, you can book a by-the-hour video consultation with us!

Initial Consultation
For our full-service clients, we will handle design and installation from A to Z. We will collaborate with you to develop plans for your entire project and seek out and manage contractors to make our shared vision come to life.

Discovery
If we mutually decide to move forward with your project, you will be provided with questionnaires and prompts so we can gain more insight into your perspective on the project. Based on your responses, we will also decide on a general budget for each aspect of the project together.

Mood Boards
After learning about your ideas for the project, we will start presenting our own. We will compose mood boards (visual collages of furniture, fixtures, materials, and inspiration) based on your style and budget and present them to you as your visual aids for our take on the project. We also recommend at this stage to start meeting contractors and collecting bids.

Renderings, Floor Plans, Elevations
After you are completely satisfied with what we have presented on the mood boards and the overall budget, we will begin finalizing our plans by providing you and the contractors with realistic 3D renderings, floor plans, and elevations for each space.

Construction
Once all drawings have your approval and the contractor is selected, construction begins! Depending on the project’s scope, construction could last anywhere from a few weeks to a year or more.

Installation & Photoshoot
After construction is complete, we will make your space feel like a home by installing and arranging all furnishings, window treatments, and decor, and then finish off with a photoshoot, after which you get to live happily ever after in your beautiful new home!
